Mayim is so sweet by offering to pay her clothes. I know how hard it is to dress as a mom. I was 24 when I had my son and dressed too matronly at first because I thought a mom should « be dignified «  and « look like a mom »

You don't even have me on there! I was the tail girl. Season 6 Episode 8, revisit, highlights, used for invite to Vegas filming, and Vegas party. 😉

These transformations are certainly memorable in so many ways. Seems like the show itself has garnered recognition.

Erin (s8, girl who suffered from severe breast asymmetry as a teen) and Tristen (mentioned in the video) are transformations that always stick out in my mind.

Erin’s self esteem was in the negatives. She hated her scars from her past corrective surgeries, and never put any effort into her appearance because she didn’t think she was worth it. She was a COMPLETELY different person by the end, not just physically, but mentally/emotionally. She looked beautiful, she was vivacious, confident, talkative, the whole nine yards.

Tristen really deserved her transformation. She was relying on skimpy clothes after a lifetime of being bullied. It was great to see her so happy at the end, and to see her confidence rooted in herself and not in her clothes.

One of my favorite shows of all time!! I watched this with my mother every Sunday afternoon. I would record the shows on Friday and I would bring the VHS tape with a good number of episodes, to Momma's house on Sunday and we'd watch with dinner or dessert. I learned a lot from this show.I love Stacey and Clinton. This made a impact on our lives. I still use their fashion tips to this day.❤❤❤

I loved this SO much as a kid! Always wanted to nominate my mom, though. 😂

I love the hair and makeup, but frankly most of the clothes choices are dreadful. A good stylist would not throw away the whole wardrobe of clothing.

I am not sure about the makeovers. It makes everyone look older to me. There isn't anything wrong with dressing younger. All the looks seem to look like how the host dresses. I celebrate unique looks more.

Oh man I would LOVE a free wardrobe renovation!!! I still wear clothes from middle school and high school, and Ive never bought clothes at an actual clothing store, its either goodwill, wal-mart, or hand-me-downs!

I wonder if anyone did this and went back to the way they used to dress

I love individuality and non-conventional looks. But we do discourage it sometimes, especially now that everyone can give anyone their opinion on social media and comment sections.

My favourite part of the show was always about finding clothes that fit you and enhanced your assets. Not you trying to fit into the clothes.
Carmen with the makeup was also just so positive. Using makeup in way that the women wanted. Whether they enjoyed makeup and teaching them how to use to enhance their features instead of hiding their face. Or those who never use makeup and giving them that confidence. She would also find products based on the women's beliefs like vegan makeup, ect.
The show also did that with clothes by finding shops for people who wanted to buy ethically or recycled, if they wanted.
It was my favourite to watch while doing homework along with say yes to the dress.

I'm definitely in need of a major make over myself! I can definitely say that! I'm so comfy going out in PJ bottoms and a t-shirt or sweats. I'm a homemaker and it's just so comfy

I love this show and my most memorable is crazy turtle lady (I can’t remember her name) she had so many turtle theme clothes.
