Rokid AR Lite Review: True Spatial Computing In Affordable Package!

preview_player
Показать описание
Rokid’s AR Lite includes the new Rokid Max 2 AR glasses and Rokid Station 2, the latter a console that powers the entire AR experience. The Rokid AR Lite kit can offer an experience that approximates the Vision Pro — true spatial computing, with multiple floating windows — but at a fraction of the cost, and weight.

Rokid has the right idea, ar glasses need to be lightweight and comfortable for the eyes. Thanks for the video, love this type of content.

I bought the rokid max because advertisement said it does the things these glasses do. Here we go again. Do you guys take trade in on old glasses for discount on new glasses. Some type of discount would be nice.

Nice one Ben, went XREAL last time but disappointed so maybe I will give Rokid a go.

How is the AR experience with the glasses? I mean, application such as matching an overlay to an electric panel, for instance. Thanks!

Have the first TCL ar glasses and they're good for content but not really usable for actual work sadly, might try the Rokid as well, hopefully they manage to somehow extend the FOV in the next version of their glasses, 50 degrees still feels pretty restrictive.

@ben's gadget reviews

I have a few questions:
1) Is there any side view option in rokid station 2 that can pin the window to the corner of the screen like what xreal and viture can do with their software?
2) Also, since it's running old snapdragon version 6 gen 1, not sure how well it can run modern android games that are extremely demanding (Looking at you, Genshin Impact).
3) Does the station 2 run on any fan and is it loud like the Viture neckband or the xreal beam?
4) Since it doesn't have any dimming option, is it hard to see the screen when you are outside?

Hey Ben! I own a Rokid Max 1 and Station 1, how would you describe the gaming experience for remote play and such? Improved with new snapdragon?

Are the screen edges still blurry? I returned my Rokid max because it was too blurry.

Thank you for the video review of the Rokid AR Lite. I have a question about lag when it is connected to the Rokid Station 2. Does it feel laggy or low fps, like the Xreal Beam?

Are you going to review the vivo x100 ultra?? I would like to hear your opinion about that phone

Would be nice to test this for programming using VS Code with multiple screen open

What is the solution for sound? Are speakers built into the glasses? If so how do those speakers sound? Why would a company the size of Rokid need to do a kickstarter?

Viture XR glasses also has a dioptre for people with myopia, but only -0.0p to -5.00.

Is it the rokid ar lite or rokid ar max that you are reviewing? In confused

The design makes it a non-starter. Why’d they choose to make it look like some goofy goggles instead of standard sunglasses
