Hey all i am trying to speed up the process so we can get to the music part of all this faster :)!!

The drawing is missing one comment:
Diameter tolerance of the 4mm rod is non critical, the rods i am using all vary between 3,80-4,20mm in diameter and its all OK!

This is an experiment, usually crowdsourcing is so overwhelming that the efficiency suffers, it is very hard to get it right. This time i am trying to be more specific than ever, maybe this works. If so i will make more videos like this. I have realized that it will take me a very long time finish the Marble Machine X and i want to try to speed up.

Also, the MMX is doing its musical world premiere, a minimalistic piece, exploring the different facets of a ride cymbal.

Motorcycle wheel spokes could be a good startning point of making these! With luck, there could already be 4mm spokes with m4 threads, just the bend needed! Heck, with enough luck, there could already be spokes with the bend in the right place!

I think it's incredibly generous that you're willing to offer opportunity for your fans to be part of your machine. From what I gather it's just the rod that you need fabricated? Although it may seem simple to a lot of people, they're are facets about how the rod material needs be (and remain) straight and how tapping the threads into the material need to be the right size for the barrel nut. So, it's not just bending a piece of metal 90° and creating threads. There is quality too... Good luck! This is very exciting.
