How did the images go on the right side in a print "IMG" format, turn into actual pictures on the left side? I've been trying to get things organized, but since the images can't be seen I cant' move them.

SO, how did you get to this page? How do I access a page for folders, so I can add one?

This looks like exactly the info I need. However you went thru it so fast that even ahter multiple viewings I still don't know HOW you did it.

This was helpful. I get confused if I have two folders that have similar content, though. For example, if I have a Family Folder and then subfolders by year. What if I want a different folder that is about my Father and all photos with him? Many of the photos in the Family Folder will also be in the Father Folder. I'll have duplicates. I worry that I need to attach some kind of tag or multiple tags to each photo listing things like "Dad", "Mary", "Joe", "Beach", "Florida", "Texas", "Bad Vacation", "Good Vacation", "Wedding", etc. Then, I'll need a search engine to pull out all the photos of our "Good Vacations", for example. It suddenly all feels so unmanageable. I lose focus. I go eat a taco. Thank you for your hard work. It got me thinking.

My computer puts all my photos in the wrong order in file explorer as well as photos app... So annoying, trying to sort them into the date they were created in a folder and it gets about 70% of them right and the rest are just random all over the place. Any ideas?

There is a big problem with this guide, it sorts by "Date", and not by "Date Taken", and that is a big difference. If you take a picture on January 1, 2020, then import it to your pc on January 10, 2020, the "Date" now will be January 10, 2020. To fix this right click on the line - "Name - Date - Type - Size" -, and add "Date Taken", your problem should be solved.
