Well-crafted video essay, I've been playing games like Valorant and CS for over a decade and it's still good to be reminded of these key aspects!

damn, thwifo has gotta have the most impressive resume i've ever seen for a coach... he's top 0.1% in damn near every fps he plays!

Learned the mental/aim reset thing from CSGO. It also definitely helps with having control over your movement. Much easier to predict exactly how you're gonna peek something if you start from 0 velocity. If you ran up to the angle, you also get the added benefit of throwing off enemies. Expecting someone to peek around a corner at a certain time from their audio cue and then delaying that peek is the easiest way to fk with someone.

Just recently learned about this channel from Sondo, you guys cover more oddly specific yet important stuff other channels don't cover. Good vids

Really helpful tips in here. I’ve been trying to incorporate wrist resets and repositioning into my gameplay more and it does wonders sometimes to just slightly alter the angle you’re coming from when re-engaging a gunfight

I knew about resetting your aim but for some reason I haven’t been doing it recently. Thanks for the reminder.

for anyone who uses aim labs and wants to play similar static scenarios to those in kovaak’s are VT 1w6ts, VT 1w4ts, etc (there’s other 1wXt scenarios, but i prefer the ones from voltaic). Voltaic also has a static routine which works well for tac fps and worth checking out VT Skylr’s & VT minigod micro correction routines

I really struggle on the microflick aspect, always felt like my crosshair was generally where the opponent was but not quite. This video helped me realize this and I will practice thank you!

Honestly, such great advice, early on (and at the end), that isn't necessarily obvious to everyone even if it sounds like it should be. Thanks for the vid!
