use one key at the same time A or D no W peeking
dont be lazy with your aim e.g. pre peek common angles after track the corner when they maybe wide swing (more common in lower elo)

Kinda ended up here after I talked with some friends about how I sometimes walk diagonally while rotating and doing the same thing in deathmatches (for example, after getting a kill I walk to another spot with more people), leading to not being able to tap while counterstrafing and having to go full stop instead before shooting if someone jumps on me

Used to just blame it on sound warriors since I play DMs with low/no sound but I guess it might be time to just clean up the movement even when I'm not clearing corners

Practicing movement on a map is underrated. I kinda unintentionally did it on the new map abyss while I was coming up with lineups in customs, and I noticed a huge improvement in my play just from having practiced clearing the sites a few times.

Ik the a/d concept, but I never understood (still dont) how to just go forward in straight lanes, because if I just hold w their peekers advantage is really big on me

I’m in bronze and I do notice pros do this and I try to replicate it sometimes but my teammates say I move too slow and I’m being “too careful” but they’re crosshair placement isn’t even good 😂
