I think i prefer/ makes more sense how the show killed tess. in the game fedra had already killed the fireflies in the capitol building so it didnt really make sense for fedra to come back to the place they just were all guns out, they dont know the gang are there and arent hunting joel/tess/ellie.

A few things tess isnt calm shes freaking out just frozen, shes in a room full of normal infected that havent spotted her yet probably because she is infected, same reason the stalker didnt go crazy trying to kill her, shes already one of them (she says in the game it had only been an hour and she already feels worse)

I think she knows she cant bring attention to herself because shell be ripped apart, she doesnt want to be ripped apart or killed too soon, she NEEDS to light the fire, its her only thought and desire in her final moments, to light the fire to make sure joel and ellie can escape. I thought it was really sad and heroic that she was feeling so scared and uncomfortable but never fought or ran away or pushed it away because then she cant blow up the building.

just my thoughts anyway
