She doesnt look like the original character. Not ugly but definitely not the write fit from a looks perspective. The hate towards her though was messed up. I thought she did a really good job acting wise really had me into the story.

Whoever is upset that a character that’s a minor is not attractive has some serious problems.

Edit: To everyone shifting this to Bella the actor being an adult is missing the point. Ellie is a 14 year old character. If the attractiveness of a 14 year old character is an important trait to you then you have issues.

Actually my first thought when I saw who they cast was "wow she's so pretty". I really like the way she looks, it's refreshing to see especially nowadays where everyone looks fake and touched up, she just looks *real.*

I honestly think she’s so cute and perfect for the role. No one’s on Pedro for not looking identical to the video game version of Joel. Probs cuz the weirdos attracted to teens don’t care what he looks like. Ellie was a child, that was a huge point of the original game too.
