I like this channel because it shows you all types of second-hand cars that people would actually buy or consider buying. Keep it up!

I love how you review cars that average people can buy not reviews meant only for the 1%.

Cant wait for your channel to blow up.

I own a GT86 of the same year - the manual gear box is such a short throw, it's to die for. Would really recommend giving one a go! Makes the car infinitely better.

Drifting (RWD)

Another great review . And honestly how many other reviewers dress to match the car interior !

I’m glad you touched on the steering wheel part! I love everything straight, and dash straight. I think the Toyota GT86 is going to be my next car. I’m a BMW man but this Toyota is something special for the full driving experience.. Great review mate.

I have one in burnt orange. Been living with it for 9 months as a daily, and have to say it's been great. I paid 17k for a 17plate with 17k miles, probably a bit expensive but overall it is a great car. I agree that you have to drive it aggressively to be rewarded which is why I opted for a manual.

However I also spend a lot of time in traffic and it's pretty comfortable, more comfortable in fact than my old 52 plate Corolla.

Good review btw. 👍

Another great review of a car that most folks can actually afford to buy, in a world where car review shows are all becoming American or focused on 200k super cars it’s cool to have a channel like this with interesting content that’s also really well produced. Well done dude! 👍🏻

That digital clock at 2:24 is certainly my favourite feature. Certainly a drivers clock that, would look better next to a cassette player though, a drivers cassette player.

Interesting. I have to disagree with one major thing. You say it’s a good second car. My partner used hers as a workhouse. It was used everyday for a 60 mile commute, right through the winter too. We live in the Scottish highlands and with good winter tyres on 16” wheels it handles snow and slush with ease. With the rear seats down there is a fair bit of room. She used to throw bags of compost and manure in there, stuff for the tip, bundles of decking boards, in fact, all sorts of crap. In the summer back on its 18” wheels it was used to go on holiday with 500 mile drives down to England. They are an awesome every day car :)

I raced in a GT86 at a skid pan and fell in love with it, thanks for this review since it's pushed me a bit further towards buying one 🤣

When I look at it I can’t help But think it looks like a modern version of the old Toyota Celica

I love this little car. I’ve driven five of them since it came out in 2012 and it’s just such a fun back to basics sports car. I’m in a position now where I can get a 2015 model and it will be my only car. My work is a very short 10 minute drive from my house so it’ll cover low mileage under my ownership. I am aware of the compromises you need to make with a car like this but If like me your in your 20’s and don’t haul many things or people around then you can live with this car. Can’t wait to get mine.

With you 100% on this and the Subaru version. It is great that someone is still building a back to basics sport coupe.

Jesus why did you buy an automatic, bring it back mate, you need a gearbox.

This is literally the car I’m about to buy, in fact if it was LHD I wouldn’t mind driving that exact one (plus I’m not a huge fan of the automatic transmission). I agree with you 100%, when you drive it slowly you almost tend to hate it, but when you get it to speed, then you get the whole point of it. Thank you for this kind of reviews, loving the channel and the way you explain the cars you try. Keep up with the good work!

Interesting what you said about handling, Matt. My FK8 is not the fastest hatchback, but there are not many hatches that handle corners like my FK8. Great on country roads, go into a corner feels like it's on rails. The gearbox is sublime, very important part of the driving experience. Great review as always.

I’m 64, living in Ca. where lots of mountain roads exist making my automatic way quicker less fatigued frolicking my 2019 Toy 86 mile after mile on lengthy rides here in my county. As I have the base model I could care less about stereo listening
