First, happy father's day to all fathers out there. You do amazing and we appreciate all your efforts.

So today, we talk about how we both knew we were right for each other. Getting raised in Nigeria sure influenced how i saw marriage but meeting Fred changed my perspective on a number of things. 17months is long sef, dude took me home officially in d 3rd month, did Islamic wedding and intro 6th months after I met him, exactly one year later we had our reception, its 11years after, we are growing more and more in love.
The younger generation need to hear that so many marriages truly work and people can remain as much in love as they were while courting even after 11years if they both choose to.

Church, then Father's Day waka with too much food and play, and here we are!
Marina, 18 months timeline is more than enough time, for two people that share same values and know what they want.
I met hubby for the first time (like hello, hi and no numbers or BB pins exchanged) in Oct 2011, we started dating Jan 2012, he proposed April 2012, Introduction June 2012 and Marriage (trad and white wedding) in Dec 2012. From Dating to Marriage exactly 12months! I believe it's not about how long but how well....and if the foundation is right!
