One thing to note, this video was filmed before AMD dropped prices on all their higher end GPU’s so this build is well below the $1, 700 mentioned at the intro

Try explaining to your wife that $1, 700 isn't "crazy expensive" and enjoy the next several nights on the couch.

For anyone building this ditch the thermal right cooler for a cheaper air cooler and use that money to get a 7800x3d. Another thing is $190 for that case with those 5 fans is insane. Just buy a decent $60 case (there are a few out there) and a few artic fans and u will spend another $100 less on the case. Hell with all those saving u may be able to get up to a 7900xtx. ****edit**** I actually just out the build together with the 7800x3d and the 7900xtx together and it was $1, 758 all together. So u could even swap the 7900xtx out for a 4080 super if u wanted to.

Imma big fan of the 2 sided glass cases. Really nice to look at and still great air flow

'Crazy Expensive" is definitely the asterisk here. $1, 700 is still more than what most people spend in a single build

I have an i5-12600k and an RX 6800XT, I get great 1440p AAA Gameplay, excited to watch the video and see how a similar set-up does at 4k!

So after watching I feel like this is the expected result. Definitely doable, but I feel as though this build is better suited for 1440p, and I also recommend going with an i5 12600k if you need to shave a few bucks off of the build.I've been seeing them go on sale for as little as $150, and I think around $135 for the 12600kf! I could be a little off about the 12600kf, but 100% have seen new 12600k models go for $150 recently.

Here is the question I would like to ask, because I've been thinking about it myself recently as the 1440p Monitor I got is only 100hz, which is more than enough for more because I play like 2 Esports games lol. I'm mainly a single player AAA game type of person, and until my 1080p 144 hz monitor just blew out on me out of nowhere (thank goodness I got that 1440p display! It happened RIGHT AFTER that!) I still had a monitor for a high refresh rate experience, do you think it's worth going with a 4k display, over a 1440p display due to the fact I can render games that can't give me the experience I want at 4k, in 1440p on the 4k display anyway? I've heard it's always best to render at native resolution, but how much of a difference does it really make?

Also, (out of curiosity because my build is already done, lol) would you guys consider going with the i5-12600k instead of the 13600k to shave some money and lessen the hit from the 4k monitor? Performance is similar enough between the two imo, but Best Buy didn't have the 13600k when I got my 12600k and there was a sale going on, so I had to grab something right at that moment.

As a console player, if it cost over $800, it's expensive

Okay so i bought a sapphire NITRO 7900XTX And a 7800X3D and still completed the full build for sub 1800$ so.. huh?.. (1000w psu, 2tb sn850x+980pro, msi micro atx b650, 360 WATER COOLED, 32gb ddr5 6000hz cl30 ram.) So tbh im confused because i built this just before black friday and have a much BETTER system for the same price... (sama case with pre installed fans saved some cash but im still not understanding because it's also an 011 lookalike just the same as their much more expensive case.) I think the sponsor had more play than we were led to believe. Always Love toasty bros content don't get me wrong. Just wanted to let yall know :(

The 4070 TI Super has just 16 GB of VRAM, However it has fantastic ray tracing. Neither card can play at settings that max out 16GB of VRAM and high FPS so the extral VRAM on the AMD is pretty much all for show. The 4070 outperforms the 7900 and has 8448 Cuda cores v only 5376 on the AMD. The price difference is as little as $50 depending on the manufacture.

For a gaming pc use the 7800x3d for the build

If it's Thermalright, it CAN'T possibly be thermalwrong!

1- go with a R5 7600
2- ditch RGB. Except on the case, which you can get for like 80$ with 4 RGB fans, and on the RAM if you really love RGB.
3- Go with an RX 7800 XT . Not a big difference in 4K compared to the price difference between the 7800XT and the 7900XT. You can still get good fps in 4K just turn off RT or some settings down a bit.
With all that you could build a 4K gaming PC for like 1000-1100$ instead of 1700.

Take into account the 4k monitor and ofcourse it needs atleast 120hz thats another 600 dollars on top and peripherals and decent cans or speaker. Console gaming getting more and more attractive. I dont care being called a peasant as long as i have my sweet sweet savings
