IMPROVED OP Early Game Heavy Bolter (Burst) Build - W40k ROGUE TRADER

Much better than the first version on the channel. Early to mid game build up to lvl 25. Some things have changed with updates and with new info what works and what doesn't. Hard to beat this ultimate build.

Heavy Bolter comes from Drusus faction, need rep of rank 4 and PF of 36.

Depending on your choices, in Act 1. yes act ONE., you can get a Dark Elf shuriken cannon [toxic reaper] I think it is called. Rof 8 or 9, toxic busrt dmg. You can get the talent at 22, the gun is nuts. It is just a generic weapon too. Rapid fire, you have 18 If you are biopsy, add Bonus's to psy dmg stack with poison sooo.. it is nuts.

I restarted my save on unfair because of I wanted to try this build, I made my character a front liner keep shooting and if I can reach someone I give a good kick it's amazing.

Thanks for the Rogue Trader Burst build guide. It's kind of funny that it came out on 12-28-23 since the latest patch says "Arch-Militant no longer receives 2 stacks of "Versatility" after every burst shot regardless of the previous attack"

I sucked so bad with burst early on like some blind drunk hillbilly firing random. But damn burst grows up fast after a few lvl’s. Thanks for the guide, all info in this game is appreciated

The is a Backpack on the planet of Quetza Temer that will remove recoil for heavy bolter and make lower recoil weapons shoot more

Nice ! Using Argenta in that role, the Hv Bolter is incredible
Yet I use dual Flamer+Bolter Pistol as 2nd set, the Flamer just melts a whole pack of enemies, and Pistol get a free attack then

I prefer concentrated fire alone most of the time. Never thought of using Rapid fire with it. I may give this a try
Rapid fire feels like just wasting ammo most of the time unless the singular bullets can one shot the enemies
and not worth it unless the enemies are too spread out to me. Am I wrong?

Concentrated Fire is bugged now? Its for aoe attacks, not for burst.
