Dear Phil, I would like to ask a question related to the target audience., we are doing travel videos using 3 languages - English, Bulgarian and Sinhala, , I want to target Bulgarian travelers, Sri Lankan travelers, and English speaking travelers, , I'm living in the Maldives. my videos do not reach Bulgarian and Sri Lankan audiences. it is reachable through search keywords but not from youtube auto-suggestion. I have an option if I do google ads and through Facebook ads can reach the audience but I need to get the audience without spending money. I look forward to hearing from you soon... Thanks

You don't need to do research or data collection? This might not be the best advice to give to someone just starting out, so I wouldn't discount research. Doing a bit of research besides just "thinking about it" might be helpful in maximizing the reception of your audience. The easiest bit of research you can do as a creator is to look take on others perspectives (what you do in your example) and gather the available info -- taking a look at comments and "likes and dislikes" of videos that might fit in that genre.

Tbh, this video was just white noise. You can do all that you mentioned, in modern day, no good unless you have YouTube SEO and etc....
