I've drank Kava for the last two days and I can already tell that it can be habit forming. This is from a former alcoholic.

Great video man! I'd have to say though, while not chemically addictive, if you're someone who is always chasing a buzz/wants to feel something from a substance all the time, then I think anything that gives you that feeling you can still certainly become addicted to. I'm sure addictive personality comes into play as well. But at the end of the day, it's still a MUCH safer, non toxic alternative to any other substance out there that gets you buzzed 👌😎

1:48 and 2:04 are the takeaways.
You always have your breath with you, if you don't, we'll that's something else entirely 😊

Traditional kava is a pain to prepare.

If you're an addict then kava and kratom will both keep you bound, drain your pockets, alter your brain chemistry and make it harder to find true happiness sober. It amazes me how it's marketed. When you feel it's full euphoric effects you will want that feeling again. And when you try small doses it is like a tease and takes discipline to not drink more for that effect. The kava bar itself is a strong addiction let alone the products they serve. I say this with a caring spirit and mean no malice or judgement. Imo it's a substance like all the other ones in that you are looking for a feeling from it and that In itself can be a slippery slope. I was clean 7 years lifting weights, serving my community, starting a business etc etc.. went through a traumatic situation and confided in kava, kratom, and fellowship at kava bars. I have now been back n forth multiple times, quitting and restarting again and have been absolutely miserable in this hampster wheel. My opinion and advice, it's not as it's marketed to be, is drug like, comes with the same risks, and can lead to relapse, bondage, difficult mental n physical symptoms etc etc. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. Save yourself the trouble and while you have an easier choice at whatever fork in the road you are at. Get involved in good stuff that strengthens your mind body n soul and avoid altering your brains chemistry and/or further addictions. Much love.

Thanks for the video. I'm also in recovery and I've been using kava at night to relax.

In April I finished a 5 month taper off RX opiates. Been a Kratom user for 8 or 9 years and am 6 days off Kratom after a short taper. My wife got me some Kava capsules from Sprouts today . Really helps the heebee jeebees. Just ordered some drinkroot barava on Amazon. Maybe I’ll get some sleep tonight? Can’t wait to try the drinkroot. Thanks for the video. It’s really nice not to have to watch the clock for my next dose!

Thanks for being so honest and open about this. Recovering opiate addict here as well and kava is useful to any aches or withdrawals I might get, does help with pain to a minor degree. Probably best to be used in moderation
