Great advice especially for beginners, always leave reps in the tank but after when you’re an intermediate or advanced you have to train till failure but not every single set cause that gives your muscles greater stimulus

My grasp on where my failure rep is, is pretty accurate. If you train to failure a lot you tend to become more familiar with the capabilities of your body so it's all about how familiar you are and to become more familiar with anything, you should expose yourself to it more

Go to failure, not 2 not 3 reps away, go to failure, remember you aren’t just working your muscles, you’re working your mind.

I’ve never understood how people can misinterpret their failure point. Like just go as hard as you can and if you really physically can’t move the weight anymore, than you’ve hit failure.

Nah what’s best is doing a set until it gets slow because muscular failure is close technique failure usually occurs once the reps begins to get slow

Nah, training to failure likely has maximum muscle growth, it’s just that you may get the vast majority of the muscle growth from 1-2 reps short of failure without the level of fatigue that comes with going to failure.

So 1-2 reps short of failure may have 95-99% of the benefit without the same degree of recovery needed.

Beginners should go to failure pretty much all the time because they don't truly know where failure is, but also they don't need to be too worried about burning out as they aren't lifting that much. Once you've been lifting for a few years, you should be able to tell how many reps left pretty accurately. Or you could just focus on leaving 1-2 reps in the tank, which should be more accurate than 2-4.

True failure is basicly not when you think you can’t, but when you actually can’t do a single rep anymore. Best way of knowing this is to go trough failure and go to the point you can’t physically do a rep anymore
