Derek here just watching this for the first time. Great video Mahe and Kenji. Not the.. ”let’s go before i have to buy a 20lb fish.” 😂😂😂 for a team to be so good at what they do and so real and down to earth. I love my team.

Nice video Mahe! DEFINITELY YES on the Washer/Dryer in the home.

I love the stories that you share of your young life in Chinatown.

Children grow up so fast. Take the time to bring them down there and share the stories you have. Believe me… It’ll be a day trip that you will always cherish, and they will hand down to their children.

You are very good storyteller. Keep up the great work!

Great video!
…now I ‘ono for manapua, though. 😂
My wife’s nephew used to live at 1212 Nuuanu Ave (and as a former USPS letter carrier, I delivered mail there between 1998 and 2007), and when he’d travel he’d ask us to housesit. We never said “no, ” as not only was this building so much closer to work for us, those amenities are cray-zee!!!! We spent an inordinate amount of time in the pool, the koi pond, and the bowling alley. Back then my wife and I lived (and still live) in the “country” (Makakilo), so living (or housesitting) so close to 5-star restaurants, fresh fruits and veg, and the culture that is Chinatown was so awesome. Great building to call home, for sure.

Thanks so much for the review of a few cool spots in Chinatown and HPP. I have been watching you all for months as I prepared to PCS to Hawaii. Can't break into the real estate market now but know who to ask if an opportunity arises. I'm renting in HPP now and selected the condo for the proximity to Chinatown. Hadn't gotten to explore since I moved in so your review got me out and about! I picked up some apple bananas, lychee and grabbed a few manapua from the restaurant you went to. Soooo good 😋! The condo is more than awesome as well! Even more amenities than you mentioned and the staff and security personnel are amazing! Hope you get a prospective buyer soon! Thanks for your awesome, fun and informative videos!!

What's the price? What are the HOA fees? You did not actually show the basketball court, I want to see it. Kū kia'i kapu Mauna Kea, Kingdom of Hawai'i.

Thank you for validating my pronunciation of lychee and focus on getting my fill while in season! Also with you on the apple bananas 🙌🏼

I love mauneakea market place and River St - it’s a good location next to some of the OG local ono food stops

I have fond memories of Chinatown. The amenities are crazy for the condo. I probably can’t afford the HOA fees. 😂

I’d feel much better about paying a hefty HOA if I had a bowling alley!

Our next trip to Hawaii will be during lychee season. It can be called “lee-chee” (the plant is litchi) depending which Asian region. Hawaiian grown lychee looks good!

Apple banana, all the way! We had a 2 acre apple banana patch in Waimanalo (against the Ko'olau) back in the '70's, lol! Thanks for sharing! 😊
