Pro tip, these work really well for dealing with annoying apartment neighbors. Firmly stick to the wall that divides you from them, then play a text to speech, voice recording, or equally abnoxious sound. It will make the wall vibrate, the airgap common in wood frame buildings will amplify the sound. It may come out on their side of the wall muddy and indecipherable, but it could help

Had one for about a year now, here are my tips: any large sheet-metal objects work great. On a window provides a large resonate surface too. And if the stickiness goes bad, just lick the bottom (indirectly) and the adhesive will work a bit better

there’s also earbuds that work the same way, they wrap around your ear and are placed at your temples. you hear the sound through vibrations in your bones and then traces to the inner ear areas to send the sound which is so cool

That little speaker it’s pretty much similar to the bone conduction transducer used in audiological exams (audiometry for example), as the skull vibrates as a whole. Other uses as bone anchored hearing aids, when the patient cant use a air conduction aid.
