Thanks for this review Peter! A great summary of some of the best new and "established" microbrands. It seems that our watch tastes and opinions regarding quality are crazy similar. As an example, my bronze AD8 (I have the blue one) is also one of my favorite watches, and the patina it's developed during the past year looks great.

I have a Maen Hudson Honeycomb, 200m WR, 12h bezel, sellita movement, retro skin diver style. The quality is superb, looks like a 2000-3000 eur watch, and it´s one of the most versatile watch I ever seen

Not seen that Ocean Orbit before, nice looking watch bro. Great list of micro’s, definitely value for the asking prices, especially for me the RZE, that’s the one I regret letting go the most 😢

Happy to hear you mention Draken. I LOVE my Tugela and am wearing it now. It was the watch that "got me back to buying watches". I was satisfied with my collection and had decided to stop buying watches ... until I saw the blue Tugela. The owner is excellent and wonderful to deal with. If I did not already have a Type A and B Flieger, I would have purchased the newer Peregrine.

Nice video covering all the bases!!! For me, the one brand I most like is the Pitzman with its Pitzman III Chronograph that has the Seiko 8R48 movement. It is a steal for the price and full of features. Mine is running at +3 sec/day, and it is on my left wrist 24/7/365. Excellent Quality and a Work Horse!!!

Hi Peter, I discovered and appreciated these brands partly thanks to you, Kickstarter and some watch blogs. I like the fact that I get value for my money. This year, I was lucky enough to be contacted by Helm to be able to buy a Vanuatu and a Komodo. Their quality-price ratio is unbeatable in my opinion.
