I saw them in Stockholm around that time, at The Strand. The band were a monster, and Mark was just Mark. He went backstage and performed the last three songs from the dressing room, and it was still a better show than almost any I have seen.

This is just absolutely one o the very best live shows ever. The band is like a wall of sound, and mark has his same 80's voice. Incredible.

MES ran a tight ship. Those musicians are killin' it. So so good.

wow. This has everything I loved about this era of the fall. MES amp fiddling, dictaphone, toy megaphone, keyboard interference, random mic moving. MES was a menace! 🙂 Band are on fire !

A half an ounce of speed vs a crate of lager in a beautiful tug of war

"I tell ya, the Dutch are weeping, in four languages at least" - gone but not forgotten Mark E. Smith.

I was so lucky to see them multiple times, but now he's gone I regret the times I didn't see them. None of my friends dug them so I used to go on my own. The ONLY band I've ever seen on my own.

He's just the epitome of cool. Never will there ever be another. He's like a precious gemstone. His lyrics are like the discovery of egytian hieroglyphics. Genius level.

So privileged to have seen MES & The Fall back in the day. Absolutely immense and....intense. This line-up, is also 'the dawgs'! (A rhythm section to die for!!!!).

The only gig you go to smiling and leave smiling we need the Fall now more than ever.Sadly Mark has gone but he remains in the annals of music history.Would have loved to hear his take on UK 2020 .

Guys was a legend. Performing in a wheelchair, gets standing ovation.

Millions of bands out there with the same instruments. These 5 made it work so well.

Love it, it's like watching a confused man wandering around Tesco yelling into the Tannoy
