If I walk into a house & there’s nothing but a chest freezer I am absolutely not opening that freezer.

I can't imagine picking your grandkids up from school, taking them home, seeing the place robbed and then opening the freezer and finding your daughter.

Not a crime scene tech, but I used to do body removal. I've seen horrific things. I can't imagine how those poor children felt. I really hope they didn't get a full look at their mom like that.

There’s a very very old lifetime channel movie like this. True story about an abusive husband who murders his wife after she tries to leave. The most jarring scene was the super clean bedroom turning absolutely shining blue when they turned the lights off. You could see smear marks and spatter and droplets and handprints where she’d tried to get away. It’s been decades since I’ve seen it but I can recall it perfectly.

This is why, when people ask “why doesn’t she just leave?”, I get so mad. That’s the most dangerous time! The best thing to do is act normally and have a very secret plan in place if at all possible.

Not to talk against what the living had to go through, but to cut somebody up like that and leave it as a statement, requires a really fucking dark and broken mind. Displaying evidence is psychologically very different to disposing of it, subhuman behaviour.

Its one thing to commit a crime in the spur of the moment and then try to cover it up. But THIS, based on how she decribes it, was clearly premeditated and executed with zero remorse.

Chopping up the body, putting the pieces into plastic bags and then placing them in a freezer where they would obviously be found to send a message (a freezer is like the first place you check) and then cleaning out the house on top of that all in 6-7 hours is about as twisted as you can get without being a straight up serial killer.

I’m curious by nature and was interested in the Forensic Scientist speaking. This is Jo Millington.

I located an article which stated she is a blood spatter specialist who has worked for police forces across Britain for the past 25 years.

Props to this lady for what she does. Thank you Ms Millington for the tough job you do.

One of my dad’s favorite movies growing up was A Cry for Help: The Tracey Thurman Story because he was a police officer and he used the film as not only a way to learn how to help the victim better, but to also learn from the mistakes that the police made in the real case. Anytime luminol is mentioned, I think of the crime scene investigation in this movie. It sounds nearly the same as what is mentioned in the video.

You never tell an abusive partner you’re leaving. You just leave whenever you get the chance and head in the opposite direction from where he’s going.

I left my boyfriend of 5 years after he dared to raise his fist at me. First time he ever did that. And last time, i saw him. I have ZERO tolerance for any man or woman who dares to raise a hand to their " loved one." No second chances. The first time is the last time. I value my life over my feelings for another person.

When you bring a child into the world your perspective on life changes forever.
You were there for your child's first smile, first laugh, sitting up, crawling, walking, first word.
The first toy they latched onto.

Now imagine finding that child in pieces in a chest freezer.

I think I'd be unable to find joy in anything for the rest of my days.

Ive worked on forensic pathology for 20 years and when I started working in it many of my colleagues were older men that had been involved in the field for more years than I’d been alive all said at some point the most horrific conditions that they have ever experienced were bodies involved in automobile and boating accidents that alcohol or drugs was a factor and after 20 years I have to agree.

I have been watching this lady for a while. Fascinating and an absolute expert in the field.
In that moment those children’s lives changed forever. I pray for them.

Man, such a sad thing. Very sad. Poor kids and the parents of the mother would've been heartbroken.

Been a CSI for 15 years...Ive seen many vehicle accidents with fatalities, train accidents with vehicles or pedestrians who tried to cross when they shouldn't. Then all the autopsies I've been to. Then the many torture victims from Mexico (deceased brought to US for burial (they were US citizens) during the cartel wars between 2011 to 2015...here in El Paso, TX. All the homicides and suicides. Most of these didn't bother me, but what got me was the women from Midland who had dementia and ended up in our lower valley and died from exposure when her car got stuck in an agricultural field. So sad. It had been a Silver Alert.
