Being left handed in a right hand world has it's advantages. You tend to do things with both on the task. Example: I write with my left hand, but can't use a "left handed" computer mouse. Just doesn't feel right. I have to use the mouse with my right hand.

I found it funny that my father was born a lefty but his mother force him to be a righty and lost his lefty powers, but both of his sons are left handed. That triggered my grandma so much that she tried to change the us but my father said "You're not doing this again" lol.

Does anyone else that's a lefty HATE those left handed desks they have in schools. I hated them and my teachers would always be like "oh we HAVE to put you in this left handed desk". No thanks, I prefer the right handed ones. Not much else is made for lefties and now I'm used to using right handed stuff so you can keep your "special" desk lol

Many years ago I was sitting in my favorite watering hole enjoying a cold beer during happy hour. The TV was on and the announcer said a recent study showed that there was a significantly higher incidence of homosexuals that were left-handed than right-handed. Of course, everyone started looking at each other. I casually put my beer down with my left hand and picked up with my right hand and took a swig. Everyone had a good laugh. Hell, I thought it was pretty funny.

Out of fourteen children my parents had two children that were left handed. I was one and so was one of my older brothers. I married a lefty and both my boys are left handed. Makes it easier to sit around the dinner table. 🙂

As a leftie I've lived my life in Saudi Arabia up until i was 18
in Saudi Arabia the left hand is considered dirty (because according to Islam's teachings you should use your left for wiping)
that's what many Arabic/islamic cultures believes in
now I'm living in home country Jordan
it's not as bad as in Saudi Arabia but some would point out that i should eat with my right especially the older folks
so all i do is stare at them dead in the eye while eating with my left
in matter of seconds they're back to eating and minding their business again
that stare is amazing
