And Then She Vanished (2024) - 16mm Short Film

preview_player
Показать описание
A one-minute short film inspired by two of my earliest photo concept shoots from 2019, this time on 16mm film, where we challenged ourselves to tell a simple story with one 100ft spool of Kodak VISION3 500T and a Bolex.

Co-directed by Linus Johnson and Eric Schlesinger

Used to shoot a lot of 16mm in college back in the mid 80s at New Mexico State University. I used a Bolex too, but mainly a CP-16A which i still have. Nice project and use of the film media.

A great little short. We have a left over spool of 16mm film from another project, and this was some great inspo on what to do with it. Keep making cool stuff!

This was cool and well done. The woman in this is very unique looking, Where I live PBS has something called REEL 13. They show a classic movie, then an independent and a short film voted on by the public. It is on Saturday nights. You should submit this for consideration.

A while back you made a video covering the developing and scanning of 8mm film from your Bauer camera. After watching that i immediately bought one of the cameras. Could you please make a video on how to send the film to the the lab you mentioned. The order form and website layout is confusing for me to navigate. If you could break it down that would be much appreciated. Keep up the great work, love your vids!

that was great!

such a neat idea too to try and make a completed short film on just one roll/cartridge of film.
