Missing Cat Returns Home

Couple see their cat come back home. Emily's cat of 8 years had been missing for 7 days and there was no sighting of it. She refused to stop looking for her because she had a dream of her cat coming home and in this video her cat came home and walked up their driveway casually. 💔

Panicking, I immediately began searching for her. The apt building was a 100 year-old, three-story building with a back wooden staircase. I began traipsing down the steps, calling her name and trying not to cry...

At the very bottom and way in the back, Chibi, my little kitten, who was the runt of the litter, suddenly rushed out to me, covered in cobwebs, and jumped into my arms...

Even writing this, I feel emotional.
I loved her so much, and my relief was huge. She was a feisty survivor who lived 18 years...

Forty-one years later and the memory is as fresh as if it happened yesterday...

Your furbaby goes out in the morning and never comes back and you live all the time not knowing, wondering if they suffered, if you had done something wrong, getting up in the middle of the night because you heard a noise that just might be... What a marvellous homecoming.

My beloved troublemaker Shadow once went missing for 9 days. I looked everywhere, made posters, checked with the local shelter, nothing. Then one day I hear crying as I passed by the front door. I opened it to see a black furball hurrying down the walkway. Shellshocked at first, I cried out his name and rushed over to pick him up, my mom heard me and rushed over as well. The poor thing lost half his weight and was filthy. We joked that he probably lost half of his 9 lives with that stunt

I lost him just last year to cancer, he made it long enough that I could get one more month with him coming back from college. That outdoor cat lasted 13 years. I miss him terribly, and in spite of the sadness it brings I still refuse to change my profile picture.
