9:53 Chet, that’s exactly what my Dad always used for situations like that… duct tape or Gorilla tape!! ❤ Sadly, he passed away suddenly last December 19th at the age of 86 (2 weeks from 87) after farming his entire life. He is sorely missed…🙏

Chet you are probably already aware of this, but in case you aren’t I’ll share some of my 44 years of maintenance experience (retired one year ago) with you. When you are replacing belts in a multiple belt application it is a good idea to purchase matched set belts. The length tolerances that most belt manufacturers have aren’t tight enough to ensure that multiple belts will be pulling equally. Another thing is unless there is no other way try to avoid rolling belts onto the pulleys as it can damage the belts during installation. A source that I used for many years for a lot of belts/belt driven parts was McMaster Carr I believe they are out of Chicago and with no extra charge I normally received parts to Kansas the next day if ordered early the previous day. I’m not trying to be critical of anything you are doing in fact it’s nice to see you doing some preventative maintenance instead of waiting till something breaks down at the most in inopportune time.
