Back in the 1980s I wanted so much to be a press photographer but they were hiring only men..I hopped into the car of the chief photographer of a small newspaper (he was teaching me n 20 other rich guys photography at the YMCA) to take me his newspaper office where I met the editor in chief who asked me "Give me 10 good reasons why I should hire you?" Without hesitation I replied "If u have a murder in the women's toilet who are u going to call?" That caught him totally off guard and he decided to hire me immediately..I went on to become a photo journalist with a couple of top newspapers in Malaysia before retiring after I won Journalist of the Year award in 2017!!!!

I remember this question which was asked 6 years ago, when I landed my first Job. I answered as "The Only Kind". He smiled and gave me a maths puzzle and said "let's see then, solve this and I will hire you right here and now".
