Technology often gets in the way of creation because technology is all about “making our lives easier.” The one thing I love about watching this video is that we are creating in the spot, with no computers. This is magical as we are turning charts into something real. Here, the incredible Samantha Schmütz is writing her vocals on the spot, responding to the atmosphere we are all creating. This is how my favorite music was made…real people with live instrumentation and tape machines.
