Every single trailer of The Batman never disappoint. This is my most anticipated movie of 2022. I read today the movie will premiere on HBO Max on April 19, 2022 after a 45-day theatrical window.

They’ve confirmed that this Riddler’s design is based off of the Zodiac kiIIer. He wore a similar costume, hence the taped up mask. It’s an easy parallel to make since both individuals leave twisted puzzles after committing crimes. I think it’s a good take on the Riddler that fits this more gritty world.

I think one of the plot points of the movie is going to be that Bruce isn’t actually doing anything to help the city. He’s taking out his anger on criminals, people that are just as much victims of Gotham as he was as a boy. What he should be doing is spending more time and attention on Bruce Wayne and the positive effect that he, as an individual, can have on Gotham. Fixing Gotham’s infrastructure, building affordable housing, and creating job opportunities for the poor so they don’t need to turn to a life of crime. He’s not being a hero, he’s being selfish. I think this young, angry Batman will be taught a lot of lessons by The Riddler and we’ll be seeing him operate differently going forward, should they make sequels. Especially if the rumors of them possibly introducing Dick Grayson are true, he’s going to have to become a better role model for the boy and the city. A symbol of hope, not fear. Hopefully he’ll evolve into a serious, not funny, version of what Adam West represented. I feel like that is where Reeves is going. I’m loving everything I’m seeing here. Absolutely everything.

1:38 - Funny that Riddler's number saved as the name "NO CALLER ID" because iPhones would read "Private" if the caller has a hidden number.

Surprised to see modern tech (even if its an old iPhone X, or newer) in a superhero movie.

Matt Reeves has said this story pulls from a variety of comics but is essentially it's own story. So we can go in to it without expectations of a pre determined storyline. Shouldnt need to worry about comics spoilers cause
it likely wont be happening in this movie
