Maybe this is a bad take, but ZZZ makes me feel like for the first months of playing, the main focus needs to be DPS characters of different elements because right now for example, anyone who doesn't have both ZY and Ellen, will struggle in Shiyu D. Next month the elements will shift and then you will need at least 1 new DPS of a different element. While in HSR elites and bosses have multiple elemental weaknesses, in ZZZ they only have one. For this reason, I think going only for DPS units for the first couple months is the way to go. As good as Qingyi is, I find it hard to pull for a character that is an upgrade of an already existing free stunner.

i would like to see the no hit run! if it isnt something the community already does i hope it will be, i spent like 5 hours no hitting withering garden with solo piper and its really fun learning when to dodge and cancel skills and position yourself. i am also interested in qingyi, seeing hitless qingyi gameplay would help greatly i think :)

the funny thing about the final version of Qinyi we have here is that she actually got nerfed just a week before the announcement. but the fact that she's looking to be amazing Stun agent, it kind makes sense why they nerfed her damage potential lol

7:00 Don't know if it was mentioned, but seeing how much damage you take the farther in Shiyu Defense you go, Defense characters are going to be extremely useful in end game, especially once S ranks of it start to come out. Edit: I knew you were locked in the moment persona 2 music started played lol.

17:04 it's more damage ending with Nicole if you have starlight engine, which you need to quick assist to trigger. Otherwise ending with Zhu yuan is best. Also need to switch out to Nicole mid-stun to refresh her def down before ulting, that's at least 40% damage loss on ult using it outside of def down debuff.

No polychromes sadly or else I absolutely would. It took me 173 pulls for Ellen, and now I’m about 230 looking for Lycaon. I’ll have to get her on a rerun since she’s probably my second favorite design/character in the game.

100% she is the best electro stunner/breaker in the game by far and the animations are cool

Qingyi seems incredible, especially for someone like me that heavily leans into Dodge Counters to extend comboes and maintain momentum, Piper being the perfect example of this strat, thus Qingyi has the exact kind of kit I mesh with, so I'm definitely getting her.

What I *am* still theorycrafting, however, is how to optimise her as a bruiser-DPS, as she looks to be a premium Daze gauge destroyer, but her Impact -> Attack conversion, Mindscape-1, and signature W-Engine give her a deeply intriguing amount of damage potential. I've had a couple of ideas, but I'm still pondering:

-Thunder Metal 4-set, Shockstar Disco 2-set. Grace, Qingyi, Zhu Yuan. This makes her less versatile, but the injection of Grace potentially means effortless uptime of TM-4 and allowing Qingyi to have a massive steroid injection on-demand.
-Thunder Metal 2-set, Shockstar Disco 2-set, Hormone Punk 2-set. ((Flex team)). This is much more akin to her standard pure Stunner build, however, I figure her Impact -> Attack conversion could be leveraged with that 10% Attack amp, especially with a good Impact-amping Disc-6, so long as her team bonus is active.

I know at the end of the day, a limited Attacker is gonna outshine in terms of raw numbers, but the sheer offensive capabilities presented make me think it's worth leaning into her damage capabilities, especially if I can get lucky enough to nab a Mindscape or 2.

It looks like this one is the one I'll end up getting. I rolled a lot for Zhu Yuan but I never got her. I have a guaranteed S rank hero in the next roll or two and Qinqyi will probably be the next one but I'ma get her next week because that's a lot of money to blow trying to get one character. This game is fun but expensive so I'm sticking with whichever character I'm fortunate enough to get and making that one my main.
