i adore how they were extra nice because their families were there

I love how everyone is so friendly in Masterchef CA, unlike Masterchef US with it’s unnecessary arguments between contestants and drama (but to be fair, that’s what makes people watch it)

I always love the Fire and Ice challenge. Its probably one of the best challenges in MC Canada.

so impressed with all seasons of masterchef canada, compared to masterchef US these people are so humble and kind , confident without being arrogant, no nastiness and no drama or meaness , and all the food looks amazing ...

Kare-kare doesn't have much spice so it's often bland without the fish sauce. It's just peanut butter, fish sauce, and pepper or soy sauce if you want. The taste comes from the meat. If you put spices in it, it's not Kare-kare anymore, it's gonna be that one Thai dish with peanut butter in it.

I enjoy watching Master Chef from every country including Canada and Australia being my two favorites. I’ve noticed that out of all the countries the USA seems to have the easier more simple challenges but as stated by other comments the USA contestants are the rudest to each other, imagine if they had to cook what the other countries do??

Loved the variety of such delicious dishes, eish some of these shows would tack on recipes though! Maybe a cookbook of particular seasons?

Mary looks like such a good person and she cooked like a masterchef from the audition lol. Glad she won, but not surprised in the slightest. Probably the best contestant there has been in MC canada.

Does anyone else feel like the judges were extra supportive to the contestants because their family is their supporting them? Or am I alone in this thought?

I like how MC Canada is chill but still a good show.

MasterChef Canada is the best! I don't like the dramatic negative all the time.

Claudio explaining such an important concept about peanut butter 🥲🥲🥲🥲

I prefer Masterchef Canada because the celebrity chefs treat the home cooks like humans while doing their job as judges while the US version ridicules the chefs basically treating them like dogs and they are just amateur cooks not masterchefs yet.

The Filipino peanut butter dish reminds me of a dish I’d always have with my family Nasi Goreng a spicy peanut butter chicken dish served with fried shrimp chips. It was incredible
