Why your Weed Eater Won't Stay Running. A Quick and Easy Fix

Показать описание
100% of the time, if the combination of your weed eater keeps shutting off and not sounding loud once it’s turned on, it might be because the Spark Arrestor is clogged or blocked by carbon deposits from the muffler. The result of this problem is a clogged exhaust system.
The reason the screen in the muffler gets clogged is because the mixture of the gas and oil you pour into the gas tank is slightly off a bit. In this video, you can clearly see the screen was oily and wet. This is an indication of the fuel having a fair mixture. If the screen were to be dry and covered with dry build-up blocking the screen, then this would be an indication of the fuel having less oil than it should have.
So, when mixing your gas for your hand held equipment, make sure you measure correctly.
The measurement is: 2.6oz of oil per 1 gallon of gas. Very simple :)
