No kidding, Nebula and Gamora's arc throughout the movies is one of my favorite stories. Angry, resentful siblings coming together and forgiving each other is such an epic thing. That golden thread in the other complex stories made the Avengers/Thanos Saga really sing.

I always thought that Nebula did win & Tony didn't let her win. But because Tony was so relaxed and nonchalant about it everyone thinks that Tony let her win. It wasn't about life or death.

I've done that with my older brothers in video games because I've found that if I constantly beat them and they never win they lose confidence and won't want to play anymore. So from time to time I literally let them win so that they feel confident and want to play it, works like a charm.
