To see all my Chemistry videos, check out

Here, we'll talk about electronegativity, and why some atoms steal electrons, while other atoms give them away. We will look at the 3D lattice structures that are formed during ionic bonding, and we'll have a quick introduction to writing chemical formulas and naming ionic compounds.

Yup. Ionic compounds always make lattice structures.

Year and years later he is still the best teacher. I wish he could teach me all my classes. I would get an A in everything. Thank you Tyler Dewitt for being so helpful and so incredible at explaining all these concepts! Literally the best at explaining and getting you to understand!

Because we are all trapped in our houses, my science teacher is loading us with your videos. Good thing they are easy to understand and go along with!

I've never taken a biology class in my life but am now enrolled into Biology 189. I cannot keep up with the professor because he talks extremely fast, barely uses drawings, and lectures as if we all already know the information. 90% of the class is failing. I'm desperate to pass because I would hate to take the class again. I found your videos and, FINALLY, I understand how things work. I have a test coming up and if I didn't find your videos I would have probably dropped the class. Thank you so much!!!! You don't understand how helpful this is. You're the best!!

I have realized after a long time that going to school amounts to little unless you have passionate, talented and engaging teachers. Teachers sitting behind their desk reading out of a textbook manual or acting like a passive invigilator are absolutely useless yet that's what I got when i was 14-18. Videos from people like Tyler are what brought me back to learning and now that I am 25 years old I am soon preparing to go to university. So thanks Tyler!

I am a tennis instructor, and I always find new ways to instruct, and so I recognize and appreciate someone who finds ways to make teaching fun and work hard at finding different ways to explain things. Your instruction are top and very very clear, broken down to the core. Thank you so much for your hard work.

After many, *ahem* many years I am going back to college and trying to tackle biochemistry. I really needed a refresher, and honestly I wish I had found you many years ago the first time around. I understand this so much better. You are a gifted teacher and have given me a very solid base to start my biochem class. Thank you so much!
