Fun fact. If they would make a new movie and release it on 2022 it would be 13 years after the last one (Friday the 13th 2009) and it would been the 13th movie of this franchise.

I normally hate fan-made trailers for muddying my sense of what's really coming out, but this was just excellently done.
The shots were well-edited; the sources selected weren't insultingly obvious; the melancholy cover of a pop song made to sound ominous was inspired, pretty enough to like, and carefully straddling the line between sincere and corny.

Hat's off, this was excellent work.

If it's a reboot then Jason shouldn't be the killer. Bc in the first Friday the 13th, it was his mom who was the killer, she was beheaded at the end. Jason takes revenge on her killers in the second and subsequent films.
