Pam (Melanie Kinnaman) faces the killer with a chainsaw and even manages to hurt him. Unfortunately for her, the chainsaw stops working and the killer starts chasing her again but he is distracted when Tommy (John Shepherd) suddenly appears in the barn.

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning is the fifth entry of the Friday the 13th film series. Homicidal maniac Jason returns from the grave to cause more bloody mayhem. Young Tommy Jarvis (John Shepherd) may have escaped from Crystal Lake, but he’s still haunted by the gruesome events that happened there. Years after Tommy murdered hockey-masked serial killer Jason Voorhees, he resides in a mental hospital and struggles with the trauma of the experience. When Tommy moves to an isolated halfway house, he has nightmares about Jason's return, and soon one of the patients (Dominick Brascia) is killed. As the body count grows, Tommy begins to question his sanity and wonder if Jason has risen from the dead. But to determine the killer's identity, Tommy will need to survive.

It's so funny how Roy puts up WAAAAY more of a fight than jason in parts 2 and 3, jason in those movies yelped in pain and got their asses handled by bigger guys. Not only is this middle aged paramedic not screaming in pain (or making any noise at all) but he isn't cowering over and tripping over himself when faced with a chainsaw

This was the most disappointing moment in the movie for me. After watching Tommy be absolutely BRUTAL in MMA style combat, he gets overpowered by a middle aged paramedic.
