Hasn't been mentioned at all in the window but fede valverde would be dream signing for me he's a great player, also like vitinha. as far as attackers are concerned I'm gutted that neto no longer an option would have been ideal but as a cheap back up striker option I'd go for toney or jonathan david. If it was another winger, imo it's got to be kudus cos let's be honest rodrygo is NOT happening and as a long term replacement maybe next year it's got to be wirtz or musiala, hasn't it?

With the extra cash from Julian we could do similar to what we did...as Kimmich could cost close to what we got for kovacic and fairly so his wages might be a problem yet like you mentioned it could be a 3 year contract...very experienced, very versatile and very talented...we would have impressive squad depth if we got him and Eze in the squad.💪

The argument of Rodrygo deciding to join City because he won't get playing time (or playing in big games) with Madrid doesn't make sense because the very same thing will happen to him at City

There is news circulating that Man City is training Kovacic to better his defence, so I don't see any signing of another midfielder DM or CM happening this summer

I'm not so worried bcoz even just in the midfield I trust mateo covacic for this season to play alongside rodri then in the striking line I still trust between Forden en Oscar Bob if Haaland is missing

good roundup and great points for all players. However if not Kimmich which is a big doubt. Save the money and see how the Paqueta issue evolves, maybe buy paqueta for 45 in December. The players that played yesterday are the ones playing this season . Nico needs game time which he can get till december for sure and other players Bobb, Doku, Savinho and Rico still need space for development. Plus we have two players Cancelo and Phillips that need sorting and I have to say Nunes did 'a job' last year but my guess is that pep will play him out of position for the season, he may end up like the other 2.

All the guys screaming we should get musiala or wirtz clearly are not thinking straight, think about it we have Bobb and mcatee who are willing to stay and develop. The arrival of either musiala or wirtz means that the 2 will departure do we really want another "Cole palmer situation" this season? No, the main priority is cover for rodri and kimmich is clearly the best option either next summer or don't spend at all and trust our youngsters

The gulf between the quality of the rosters of MC and RM has (obviously) gotten a lot larger. Paying the release clause in June for Bruno seems like the only way MC could have tried to close the gap this year.

JSGC, I agree with you on the idea if waiting for wharton for another season. Big risk. He is clearly good enough if he has caught our eyes already. If we can take a chance on Nico O Reilly, who I am happy is being given chance to develop with the first team, then surely we can bring Wharton in. The lad had championship experience and half season as a first team regular for Palace, a solid mid table team. Many examples of successful young signings Palmer, Rooney, Henderson, Bale, Stones etc. I would be delighted if we signed for 50-60.
