Will all the footage from the Moana 2 trailers be in the movies? Or will they join the other Disney and Pixar movies that deceived us? These are moments from Disney and Pixar trailers that was not seen in the final edit of the movie.

I've always loved the teaser Trailers from Pixar.

It still surprises me how much from the trailers don't end up in the final movie. Almost as if trailers are not only ads for the final version of the film, but in some cases (and this is ESPECIALLY the case for Frozen II, a film that was heavily reworked not to long before the films actual release date) are glimpses into what the film couldve been, and in other cases, its stuff that was just made for the trailer (which i miss, btw). Either way Interesting stuff.

0:59 that was actually reworked from a deleted scene/alternate opening where Buck was trying to cook breakfast for Chicken Little. The main difference was Buck picked him up and interrupted the reporters

for the inside out 2 teaser trailer, joy says "our little girl is growing up so fast, and things couldn't be better." but that line isn't heard at all in the movie

That Dory sleep swimming almost got in to the movie and it was fully animated and all, but it was cut of last minute, but there is a full version on deleted scenes.

I do know that in the trailer for SpongeBob sponge out of water there was a shot of burger beard throwing a soda six-pack-ring to squidward nose and he got tangled by it when he tried to take it off while saying: what is this diabolical thing.

I wish more movies would do oiginal scenes just for the trailers; just something that helps set the environment and tone of the movie without giving away any crucial details of the actual movie, rather than how most trailers now have practically all the impactful scenes of a film and the audience can practically deduce 80-90% of the entire plot of the movie. I want to feel surprised again about twists in the plot and not knowing exactly how a story will play out, but maybe that's just because I've grown older and twist or tropes that would surprise me back then just feel repetitive and common now.
