Glad you enjoyed our city state, we are not perfect like how some media portrayed us to be, but we like to keep things working efficiently for everyone incl our foreigner guests. Do visit again for the more local side of life in Singapore.

There are lots of extensive underground walkways in Singapore. From your video, we see you taken a super long route above ground, There is a much shorter and direct route from Tang's to Shake Shack at Liat towers. The "crossbox" is underground so as not to impede vehicle traffic flow. Pedestrian flow are smooth and efficient in Singapore and with aircon,

Been going through your Singapore vids last few days as you guys popped up on my feed and we’re travelling to Singapore next week. Really enjoying them - the style and editing works really well and some great content.

Drink plenty of water while here in Singapore. When in Orchard Road, use the underground walkways. Ask the locals for help or directions. We locals don't talk much or are relatively shy, but we are friendly and helpful. Enjoy your stay here.

I can see from the comments that you really value and appreciate your viewers by replying to almost every single one of those who commented here. I always believe that this is the correct way to go if you want to produce YouTube videos. You are one of those rare ones and am impressed enough by the quality of your clip and your sincere effort to reach out to your viewers, and have subscribed. Keep up the good work!!

To cross roads at the Ion/Wheelock/Tangs/Isetan intersection which was where Shake Shack was, taking the underground footpaths would have been only 5 mins long. It's also air-conditioned and protects you from the sun rays :)

2:36 There is actually an underpass to cross that junction. You'll need to enter it from the mall. Not sure why Google Map didn't suggest that route and gave you a big detour route.

It is a well thought out and carefully designed city state, some eyesores you commonly see in SE Asia city are mostly hidden from public view here.

Born and bred in Singapore, and I still can't get used to the heat and humidity.

Welcome to Singapore and thank you for your kind and great comments. Stay indoor due to UV and have umbrella handy. Have a small tower ready to wipe and rinse in wash room to cool yourself at times.

Our currency are plastic notes so they don't disintegrate when they are wet (or accidentally left in pockets when clothes are being washed).. Prefer them over paper notes that some other countries might still use.

Welcome to Singapore :D usually the more popular areas like Newton Food Centre or Lau Pa Sat are more expensive. The local neighbourhood hawker centres are where you'll find food for under 5SGD (usually the basic ones like mixed veg rice, noodle soup or chicken rice. Japanese/Korean/Western cuisine stalls usually sell from 6-10+ and premium meals like whole lobster, crab, hotpot will always be past 10SGD)

Well... as a Singaporean...

Would like to thank you for explaining why we have the COE System and why Singapore its considered to be so expensive (for Expats) to live in... Its mainly because of cost of a private Cars... and Accommodations... Both greatly in demand and in short supply...
