FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF SINGAPORE! (this city is amazing) 🇸🇬

We are in SINGAPORE! After 6 incredible months in Thailand, we board our first International flight from Chiang Mai, Thailand to Singapore! We check out the Jewel, Changi Airport, the HSBC Rain Vortex, and get a Grab to our tiny hotel room in Chinatown, Singapore.

We then take you to see the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands, before trying some local food for dinner to round out our first (half) day in Singapore!

Singapore is my number one favorite country for a first time trip. Thailand if it’s a second or more trips.

Check all the neighbourhood if you have the time - Chinatown, Kampong Glam, Tiong Bahru, Joo Chiat, Little India, Bugis...etc

I know how sad you are to leave Thailand but you'll be back before you know it!. I enjoyed seeing Singapore with it's big metropolis. Again, the aerial shots were great - another perspective. Everywhere you go there will be things that standout for the culture/place you're in at the time but Thailand will remain very special to you. the Elephant Queen and Milo Team will be remembered and talked about until you return. Would love to vacate to Singapore. I'm not much of a suck-up, but if I do plan on going, I have to thank just about everybody, from workers to servicemen to students, as they have to be some of the hardest working and success-driven people in the world. They make the experience worthwhile for foreigners because they made city and the service stay slick. Meanwhile, I'd serve no purpose; would just be a bum in the sun, drinking in Marina Bay.

Anchovies (Ikan bilis) and peanuts. Actually they are best eaten with sambal (fried chillies)

You were lucky with the drone shot. Drone is supposed to be restricted at this period of time. Right now it's the rehearsal for our National Day at the CBD area, so every Saturday there's fireworks to see. Hope your stay will be till August to see the actual event itself!

Hi Josie, we’ve stayed at the Bloc Gatwick and they’re rooms could be a bit smaller than yours was in Singapore. It serves its purpose though! Sleep because they’re very quiet.
