How To Remove Babylon Search From Google Chrome
If you have Babylon search toolbar installed, and you want to get rid of the Babylon search toolbar, you have to click on the top right, this little box.

Then go to Tools, and Extensions.

Here you see Babylon Translator.

This is Enabled.

Check it off.

Now it's been Disabled.

You can also remove it completely by clicking on this trash box, clicking on Remove, and now it's gone.

One more thing to keep in mind, that sometimes it might mess up some of your other settings, the Babylon Toolbar, as well as some other Toolbars, so just go here and make sure that
first of all, On Startup it's opening either just a blank New Tab, or it's opening a specific set of pages,
or just one page.

So if you want to have Google as your home page you simply set that here, click OK.

Or you just have a blank New Tab, or you can even have it open from the last pages that you were on last time you were browsing.

Also just make sure that in the search engines, that you select whichever one you want, usually Google, just make sure that the Babylon search engine is not selected here.

That's all there is to it really. Now your Babylon Search Toolbar will be removed,
and won't bother you anymore.

Thanks this worked! I don't know how this virus got on my Google Chrome browser. It was on my main browser Internet Explorer and I had to get my computer repaired.

Go to Google Chrome Settings - Open a specific page or set of pages.Set Pages .
Select Set Pages marked in blue and remove Babylon and delta search browser and make Google Chrome as your default browser. It worked for me try this.

Same issue for me. I do not have it in chrome extensions. A Tab with Babylon Search open up automatic as a saved homepage. After numerous of time removing it as homepage...I want only Google search and facebook as the home pages. There has got to be more ways to remove it. I cannot find it anywhere else like in control panel>programs to try and uninstalling it.

Be careful with CCleaner when cleaning up your hard-drive - make sure your windows restore points are validated first. If not, then do your windows update which will set a recent restore point in case you wipe critical files or programs. Even if you aren't going to use CCleaner, you should create a windows repair disk in case your pc won't boot up at any time down the track (under 'create a system repair disk'). I salvaged friend's laptop using my repair disc.

No matter how I set Google Chrome, once I restarts the browser babylon just comes back from the dead .
I removed it from my extension, I removed the app that came with it, I changed the homepage and I checked there are no plugin that associates itself with babylon.
Yet it keeps on coming back .

I did everything in your video and even uninstalled babylon but still when I open "new tab" it open in babylon . Is there any other way to remove it ?

after done all in youtube instruction, then try redownload new chrome. It's work for me.

here is the solution:
select 'settings'> select 'On startup'> check "Open a specific page or set of pages" and click on set pages.. this option will give u the option to remove Babylon!

Hi. Download CCleaner (it's free), open it up, then go to tools. Once there, then select 'start up'. You'll be able to click each browser tab to reveal what programs are scheduled to start. I found the babylon parasite lurking under the Chrome section. You select babylon, then either select disable or delete. Guess which tab I selected?

I have tried that, but babylon is not showing up in my extensions, yet it is still on my homepage! What should I do?

hi my os is windows 8 and i can only see one rundll32.exe and the description says windows host process (roundll32)

Hate when they say to go to uninstall a program cause it doesn't even show up there for me...I think I covered it up cause all I did was remove google completely (even though I opened internet explorer and it was still there) I made google my home page and blocked Babylon from the sites and now it doesn't show up

Babylon isn't in my extensions yet it still comes back from time to time every time I open Chrome :( And even when I always update the settings

On the chrome settings you can change it so that it does not open babylon upon startup

Tell you what, even after all this actions, Babylon still comes up everytime I open Chrome...
