Euro 2024: Jack Grealish and Harry Maguire axed from England squad

England boss Gareth Southgate has announced that both Jack Grealish and Harry Maguire will not play in this month's Euros.

Revealing his squad for the competition, Southgate said Man City's Grealish and Man Utd's Maguire would not be part of the 26-man list.

Grealish has struggled to hold a regular place in the City squad while Maguire has a calf injury.

Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, Liverpool's Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones and Tottenham midfielder James Maddison have all also missed out.

England start their campaign in Germany with a Group C game against Serbia on 16 June, before games against Denmark on 20 June and Slovenia on 25 June.
