Southgate only just picked players on form one game before the tournament. Problem with that is the new players in the squad haven’t had enough time to gel. He basically left out all the experience which he’s used through the whole qualifiers to bring in inexperienced players who’ve played one game together before the tournament. I don’t get it at all.
