I find some of the comments about Grealish on here incredible. So many have referred to him being “good at winning free kicks”. It’s laughable! Can we just remember this is a forward who cost £100 million. For £100 million, I want somebody who can do more than “win free kicks”.

His numbers for last season are horrendous. 3 goals and 3 assists in 31 games. Rico Lewis got 4 goals and 2 assists! I’m a Forest fan and no I’m not saying that they should have been picked for the Euros, but Gibbs-White got 6 goals and 10 assists and Hudson-Odoi got 8 goals and 2 assists… in a struggling team! What are people seeing in Grealish? Over hyped, over priced and not needed for the Euros. Foden, Palmer, Saka, Bowen, Gordon, Eze all ahead of him.

Jack Grealish has been a passenger in the best team in England for 3 years. 100 million quid and not a regular for club or country. England does not need someone who can only play the ball 10 yards inside and fall over.

Grealish can control the pace of the game if we need too keep hold of the ball. He’ll get assists too. He does little things that don’t get picked up on. He’s played at the highest level also.

Not really surprised by the ex arsenal player and now pundit wants Bowen out = too much of a threat to can you not take Bowen with 16 goals in 34 matches as a winger + his work rate is on another level.

Guehi (been injured since feb and has just come back and looks so rusty, with our other injury concerns at the back, why take the risk)
Jones ( I like Curtis, was between him Wharton and kobbie. He didn’t end the season great for Liverpool after injury and the other 2 have been quality recently)
Maddison (not needed and out of form)
Bowen ( unfortunately for Bowen we have multiple options on the right, Saka, palmer, foden can play there and all ahead of him, just a waste of a position as he won’t get a minute)
Watkins ( seems really harsh but with the way England like to play I just don’t think the system suits him, toney suits the system better and could be crucial in a penalty shootout. Don’t think you can afford to drop another defender to fit him in and I wouldn’t drop another midfielder either)
