I'd been sruggling with my current irons Did the Ping measurements was White Dot with 1" long shafts Found a mint set on Ebay Now I can hit my Irons great dropped ten strokes 1st night of league play.

Thanks, Rick - very informative. I didn't appreciate the issue of the diagonal strip using this chart. It's a great method to get a good fit - I guess the fitting session will look at the swing plane in a little more detail and adjust accordingly.

When did PING change the color system to the one they us now?

I’m 6’3” with 34.5” wrist to floor.
I don’t know if I’d be a +1/2” shaft and in the black or +1/2” shaft and in the blue. Can someone help me please 🙏🏼

Well the color chart is self explanatory but it don’t tell you the size of the club. Which is what you said it dos

I was told the Ping irons were only adjustable when sent back to the factory and not by a fitter. Was I given bad information by that Ping fitter? Thank you in advance.

How does this work when the irons across your range may have different length shafts and lie angles to start with ?

If I buy a set of black dot (standard lie angle) Ping G425 irons….and I get them adjusted to lets say red dot, will they put the red paint over the black? Or will they just keep it black?

So with the highlighted zone in the middle what is the point of the maroon for example if you always have to move towards the highlighted middle zone? Is it just for extreme cases a fitter would recommend it?

So just to be clear. If the ball strike is in the heal and your in red. To get the middle hit you should go to blue? More upright angle to get that middle hit?? Thanks

Can most retailers change the lie angle meaning if you are in red but you should be in blue dot can those ping irons be changed or not?
