I paused the video on wired connection and I'll continue in a bit I'm a high ping player from the Caribbean the island of St Lucia where we get 60 to 120 ping I have manage to bring down my ping by using the cord but nothing else in this video won't help me cause people from the Caribbean don't have their own sever sadly our closet is NA East I'll continue watching your video too the video to the end so far it's Really informative keep it up Pro Guides 🇱🇨🤗❤️

5:15 I have my methods of lowering ping. First thing I try is restarting the device. For example: If you put a PS5 into rest mode, then later turn it on, often times it will give you more ping and restating fixes that. 2nd thing I’ve tried is using the servers around me. Example, I recently found out that I get less lag on NA-Central

For what ever reason when i put my ethernet into my Xbox for some reason it doesn’t make any differents i will still lag even if i put a ether cable in my xbox

Like I have a DP cable and a ethernet cable and right beside the 500$ Internet box we bought and it doesn’t feel as if it is but the display ping says it is still runing 35 and I ran that on my Xbox before I got this setup can anyone help?

It’s not just a slight delay that makes me “worse”, I’ll take 40 ping over unplayable ping, my parents are to cheap to get anything good and I’m always getting over 500 ping, I’ve tried mostly anything but it’s cuz of my trash internet.

I can’t use a ethernet cable from downstairs to second floor so i use a power line adapter wich should make the connection better but instead i get a 23-40 MS delay

My #2 way of lowering ping is by closing all other windows. Then (PC Only) at the right bottom corner it shows an up arrow, click it and close everything in there besides 100% required stuff.

I got 22ms on eu servers it feels like my WiFi is trash but I’m getting 4 ping and a decent steady 120 fps on my pc, so I think it’s just the closer you are to a Fortnite server the better connection you get.

i was on wifi i ran a 100meter ethernet cable through the floor boards of my house and my ping is still the same as when i was on wifi 25-35 ping and as a competative fort player it is very hard when everyone is on 0-10 ping earlier i clicked my wall button and it didnt place straight away and i screamed my wall didnt place !
