Learn how to stop your apps or programs from starting automatically when you boot into Windows 10. Disabling apps in your startup settings will stop them from opening up until you choose to do so.

In this video, I'll show you how to disable startup programs in Windows 10 using two methods: startup apps in system settings and the task manager.

As a bonus, I'll also walk you through how to prevent Windows from automatically log you into your accounts when you open up a web browser and how to uninstall programs that you no longer use.

00:00 - Intro and Overview
00:24 - Using Startup Apps in System Settings
01:44 - Using Task Manager
02:51 - How to prevent accounts from logging in automatically
03:50 - How to remove/uninstall programs and apps

Thanks for watching the video and be sure to ask me if you have any other questions that I can help with!

Hi I have an unrelated question but I am struggling to find an answer anywhere maybe you can help
In windows media player I went to ORGANIZE and wanted to change the library to RELEASE DATE
however when I did under GENRE, ALBLUM or ARTIST the ablum artwork is there but when opening individual artists the artwork doesn't appear just the list of albums by the artist but no artwork. I have tried to go back and try different things in ORGANIZE but it doesn't seem to help
Could use some advice if you could

I have windows defender in my startup. Could this be causing longer boot ups? I do not have an SSD harddrive.

Josh, Previously on my laptop after pressing F4 key, my mic used to turn on and off. Now, it's not working that way. Even i press F4 key, mic always remains on and no changes occur. Do yo know How can i reset it so that i can turn mic on and off by simply pressing F4 as i used to do previously?
