Overview:By accident, introverted brother David (Tobey Maguire) and hot sister Jennifer (Reese Witherspoon) arrive in a world of black and white: Pleasantville. This is the scene of David's long-time favorite TV show: no color, people live a quiet life without waves and thrills. The inhabitants' life is like a set routine, every day is lived without surprises. Husbands and wives are respectful, children are obedient, there are no basketballs that don't fit in the basket, no books with stories written on them, no dinners that are not ordered.
　　The arrival of a brother and sister gradually changed the black and white world. Especially with Jennifer's enthusiastic and spirited personality, people began to be surprised to find that they saw color. Color spreads throughout Pleasantville and those who can see are attacked by those who cannot see. The conservatives could not accept the appearance of color, could not see people open the Pandora's box of desire and instinct, however, Pleasantville still roared forward the wave of color.
