They were ages 15 to 17 when they threw rocks onto I-75 in October of 2017 in Genesee County. They called it overpassing.

The fact that the rocks were loaded into the truck in preparation and brought to the overpass makes it so much worse imo. This wasn't a spontaneous act of idiocy. It was planned.

Stealing candy is a juvenile crime. Murder is a adult crime that deserves a adult response.

I worked in a large juvenile prison for a number of years. We had the worst juvenile offenders in the state. People refuse to believe how cold-blooded young killers can be. These guys are murderers. They did it for fun. They should go away for a very long time in the adult system.

Two things that I read about that makes this even more disturbing:
1. The injuries on the victim were so horrific that even the driver and other police officers were in complete shock and horror.
2. After the evil teens learned of this, they laughed about it on Snapchat. No one said "what have we done?" They joked about it.
One even said they should get tear drop tattoos. Are those tattoos a way of mocking the victim?

”Let’s drop this big ass rock from an overpass on the windshield of a moving car”

That’s way beyond being young and stupid, It’s murder

All grammar and high schools should show this video to their students. Rest in Peace Kenneth

I heard they laughed even after they found out that guy died. They were even joking about getting tattoos to mock the suffering of the family. That is pure evil

Stop calling it a "prank". Putting a firecracker in a mailbox or egging a house is a prank. This is attempted murder - and they suceeded.

These monsters deserve life! I'm so sick of all the lame excuses allowing people to get light sentences when they deserve so much more. All these criminals getting away with no consequences for their crimes are only going to reoffend.

This is not about stupid. This is about having ugly hearts.

They didn’t show any remorse. Discussed on Snapchat “lay low and it will blow over”. Disgusting excuse for humans

So Loading the rocks up in the back a truck and going to the highway isn’t premeditated? 🤔🙄

Killing is not a juvenile crime. They deserve real prison for what they did.

21 months? Including time served? How shameful of our courts.

Not enough time! I cried my eyes out after seeing this. They'll get out of prison and be the same vengeful little bastards they were when they get out.

That attorney would feel differently if his family member was killed by a senseless act. Those young men knew better. This was not a child’s prank, it was murder.

That lawyer calling this a "political" sentence, he would change tune if it were his wife or kid that got killed.
