I did this for a 40 minute video, and when it was done, the output video wasn't rotated.

I converted an Apple video using VLC Player. It plays upright in VLC but sideways in WMP and RealPlayer. Gotta love Apple always making things difficult. So glad I don't use them any more.

Anywho, should I select the filter options you talked about and then convert the original again to make it play upright on other players?

thx my nvidia recordings are always upside down if i record desktop cause my monitor is upside down itself. it didnt always do that and i tried everything to fix but owell ill rotate them

What a worthless tutorial. This just saves VLC settings to rotate ALL videos during playback in VLC, it does NOT save a singular video as rotated.

dont waste your time on this tutorial. VLC is not capable of doing that, it will just render a black screen with no sound. You need another program for this.
