Pete came across the Sitting Rising test which is purported to predict longevity. It is easy to perform but extremely frustrating! Give it a try and see what you score.

I've got long legs and short back. The ONLY way I can get back up is by having a free weight in my hands held out in front of me - otherwise I fall over backwards. I am extremely fit and intend to live a very long time:-)

I can likely do more pullups, squats (loaded or not), and pushups than them yet I cannot do this because once my butt hits the floor I literally have no leverage to put the load back onto my feet without rocking heavily or using counter weight. Guess I have had a high chance of death for my entire developed life, and I've literally always been athletic! Haha

What if you can do it more than once in a row? Is there anything on the number of times? I'm in my mid 60s and find it quite easy. I'm a diabetic with various health issues but find this simple. I can also touch my nose with my big toes. Does that help any?
