One of the brands I always recommend when it comes to affordable Swiss watches is Hamilton. With a broad offering spanning hundreds of references across several major model families, the overall Hamilton collection can be a bit confusing. With that in mind, I wanted to put together a video that tells you everything you need to know to understand where to look when it comes to Hamilton watches. If you like this concept, be sure to comment other brands we could cover in this style down below!

I have a Hamilton pocket watch from 1950. It was my grandfathers when he graduated college. It still keeps amazing time and he last had it serviced in the 60s. It’s now on display in a crystal dome on a hook. Very cool.

I am truly impressed by Mr. Baldassarre's overview of watches. Well beyond the superficial analysis of the surface features, he is fluent in his knowledge of the families of movements, the certifications, the histories, orientations within the market, and even mentions Hertz! What a professional. This video series stands head and shoulders above other on YouTube. Sets the standard in my opinion.

It's evident that the man hours dedicated to making your videos has increased dramatically over the last couple years. Outstanding job! The production is great, the outline and table of contents in the intro is a unique user friendly experience.

I love these history heavy posts! Please consider doing one of these for every brand that has this much background. It could be longer too.

I love this brand. Bought my first hamilton about 15 years ago and I still get enjoyment when I wear it. Now I have several. Hamilton has a special place in my heart when it comes to watch collecting.

As a Lancaster native, Hamilton is my go to brand. Just added a vintage Hamilton 6080 to my collection that was previously displayed at the National Watch and Clock Museum. Great work, as always, Teddy.

Today came the day during my vacation in Italy (living in a small island in the middle of the Atlantic, very limited chance to buy such things) that I bought my very first automatic watch, a Hamilton Aviation Pilot Day Date Air Zermatt Limited Edition which caught my eyes and then my soul too while going through quite some Hamilton watches at Majer Orologeria in Turin, Italy. As someone who's planning to exit from his current industry (IT) and studies to become a therapist, the history of Air Zermatt which is a high level aerial rescue team, the history of this watch made my choice and my day that those folks are in so important role of rescue and supporting people that I'd like to dedicate my life in the future. It's been a few months of a journey, reading and listening to many of Teddy's content along with others to then find my first automatic watch that has its special connection to me, worth the wait and patience, super happy with my purchase 😊

I literally just bought a Khaki Field mechanical for an employee of mine, just promoted him to manager position and thought he needed a good first watch. Im anxious to see it in person myself honestly so I can look at buying the white dial version. I rock a Khaki Field Auto as my daily wear and it was my first watch. Absolutely a fan of their field watches!

I have my grandfather's 30 year award Hamilton Masterpiece mechanical from BF Goodrich in Akron, Ohio. It was manufacturered in the early 1960s. A stunning and sleek dress watch and one of my prized possessions. I plan on buying a Murph for my son in a year as a graduation present.

Yesterday I bought the 38mm Murph as my first watch and I’m absolutely in love as a big Interstellar fan.
I was undecided between that one and the Classic Khaki field but that has alzo the same movement for almost half the price. They make such beautiful watches.

My first "real" watch was inherited from my great-grandfather: A 1942 Hamilton 992 Railroad Pocket Watch. It got me started down this long and expensive road and I own a few more Hamiltons. Thank you for this excellent video examining this historic and really fun brand.

Finally..a Brand focused video 👍🏼 I like that you point out the strength of a particular brand line up..like for Hamilton, it’s the Khaki and the Intra-Matic..like for the Omega, it’s the seamaster and speedmaster..I think, for someone starting out into the world of luxury watch, it is important to choose the model that really represents what brand is really about
